Overview

Karen Prouty Conklin is a 1998 graduate of the University of Georgia. She completed her studies at the University of Georgia with Bachelors of Arts degrees in English and German. In 2001 she received her paralegal certification with honors from the National Center for Paralegal Training, which is accredited by the American Bar Association. She became a PACE Registered Paralegal in 2003.

Ms. Conklin is a member of the Georgia Association of Paralegals and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, and was the recipient of the 2003 Georgia Association of Paralegals PACE Scholarship. Ms. Conklin served on the Board of the Georgia Association of Paralegals from 2006 through 2012, and she has served as the Atlanta Chapter Chair for the International Paralegal Managers Association.

Ms. Conklin assists the Firm’s attorneys in registering copyrights and trademarks. She is experienced in all phases of complex litigation. She regularly prepares discovery requests and organizes discovery documents. She creates and maintains trial exhibits and notebooks. In cases with large quantities of documents and depositions, she maintains electronic databases and deposition indexes. She has been employed by the Firm since 1999 and has been a paralegal with the Firm since 2001.
