CHRISTINA BAUGH is a litigator whose practice is focused on a wide range of business litigation including intellectual property, construction, securities, insurance coverage, tort claims, professional malpractice, commercial litigation, employment litigation and property disputes.
Ms. Baugh is authorized to practice in Georgia State and Superior Courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Ms. Baugh is involved in many bar activities. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Baugh is serving a second year on the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers Board of Foundation during the 2010-2011 bar year.
Beginning in the Fall of 2010, Ms. Baugh is a barrister in the Lumpkin Inn of Court. Ms. Baugh had a "Construction Case Note" published in the Fall 2007 Atlanta Bar Association Construction Law Section Newsletter summarizing recent case law development in construction contracts between general contractors
and sub-contractors. Additionally, Ms. Baugh was recognized by the Atlanta Magazine as a "Rising Star" in 2010 and 2011.
Ms. Baugh graduated Cum Laude from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2007. While at the University of Georgia, Ms. Baugh served as co-coordinator of the Closing Argument Competition, as well as competing as an advocate on two Mock Trial Teams. During her third year of law school, Ms. Baugh gained trial experience practicing under Georgia's Third-year Practice Act. Working in Gwinnett County's Solicitor's office, she argued several criminal motions, and served as second-chair in several jury trials. Ms. Baugh was also a Pupil in the Lumpkin Inn of Court.
Prior to law school, Ms. Baugh earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Neurological Behavioral Biology from Emory University in 2003.
