Julia Palmer practices complex commercial litigation and has been involved in a wide range of cases encompassing employment law, business litigation, insurance coverage, products liability, land use, shareholder disputes, and construction law.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Palmer clerked for the Honorable John Preston Bailey, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, from 2008 through 2011.

Ms. Palmer graduated with honors from Emory University School of Law in 2008, where she served as Director-in-Chief of the Mock Trial Society and a member of the Moot Court Society. She was selected as a member of the Order of Barristers and received the Dean’s Public Service Medal. While in law school, Ms. Palmer gained experience practicing under Georgia’s Third-year Practice Act at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia.

Prior to law school, Ms. Palmer graduated magna cum laude from Vanderbilt University in 2005, earning a B.A. in Political Science and English with honors. Ms. Palmer is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the American Bar Association, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
