Stephen T. Labriola and Michael C. Gretchen Obtain Multi-million Dollar Settlement for Client

Stephen T. LaBriola and Michael C. Gretchen obtained a settlement in excess of $15 million for the victim of a tractor-trailer accident resulting in catastrophic injuries.  The defendants aggressively contested liability, and the case required the presentation of multiple experts providing testimony on complex issues, including accident reconstruction, speed calculations from dashcam video on a moving vehicle, human factors evidence, the use of FARO® laser data, lifecare medical plans and complex physics calculations.  The firm overcame the defendants’ motions for summary judgment and motions to exclude expert witnesses, while prevailing in limiting the defense’s expert testimony. The case settled on the courthouse steps.
