Successful Defense of Cvent, Inc. In Federal Trademark Infringement Action

In a federal civil action brought by a securities firm and its principals against a New York law firm, Mr. Fellows successfully defeated the plaintiff’s purported legal malpractice action involving the offer and sale of securities to public pension plans in Georgia. The plaintiffs sought millions of dollars in alleged damages. Following document and deposition discovery of partners of a non-party law firm and an adverse ruling by U.S. District Judge May of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, the plaintiffs agreed to dismiss their complaint with prejudice.
