Overview

Kathleen (“Katie”) Kassa represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a law clerk for the Honorable Mark H. Cohen in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

Katie received her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University, where she graduated summa cum laude. During law school, Katie was a member of the Student Health Law Association, the Law Review, and served as a legal writing teaching assistant.  

Before law school, Katie received a Master of Public Health from Emory University, worked as an epidemiologist, and served in the United States Peace Corps. Katie completed her undergraduate studies in political science and anthropology at St. Olaf College.
